Privacy notice

You can browse Agenda Norte without an account. If you sign in, we store only what's needed to run the features you use:

• Your email address, to send sign-in links and identify your account.
• Your votes (thumbs up / down) and saved events, to personalise your agenda.

Your display-language choice is kept in your browser only. We don't sell your data. Your account data is handled by our hosting provider.

Advertising

We show ads provided by Google AdSense to help fund the site. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where you have consented. You can manage your ad personalisation choices in Google's ad settings and read how Google uses data in advertising.

Google Ads visit measurement

When you arrive from one of our Google ads, we may tell Google Ads that the visit reached the agenda, so we can see which ads work. This uses the Google tag, which can set cookies and send your visit, device and ad-click details to Google for advertising measurement. We do not send your email, account, votes or saved events. In the EEA, UK, Switzerland and Canada (or where your location is unknown) this measurement is switched off. See how Google uses data from partner sites.

The same tag also sends Google Analytics the pages you view, scrolling and outbound link clicks, so we can understand how the agenda is used. It is switched off in the same regions.

Affiliate links

Our tours and experiences links lead to GetYourGuide. We may earn a commission on eligible bookings, at no extra cost to you. These links include our public affiliate partner ID, not your email, account ID, votes or saved events. We do not load GetYourGuide scripts or set affiliate tracking cookies on Agenda Norte.

When you follow an affiliate link, GetYourGuide receives your visit and may use cookies or other tracking under its own consent choices and privacy policy. You can manage those choices on GetYourGuide. Bookings and payments take place there, not on Agenda Norte.

Email digest

If you ask for the daily "today in Porto" digest, we keep your email address, the moment you asked for it and where you asked from, so we can send it and show that you subscribed. The agenda itself does not deliver the email: a dedicated email service does, and it hosts the unsubscribe link and may record opens and clicks. Your address is not used for anything else, sold, or shared for advertising. Ask us at the contact below and we will remove it.

Legal basis: your consent and the performance of the service you request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (b)).

Your rights: you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data at any time, and you may complain to the CNPD (Portugal's data protection authority).
